Hailing from Milton Keynes, Graveltrap
are one of Moon Ska Europe's
newest additions, and add a little bit of difference to the label.
They play your average punk, but also have metally tinges thrown in
for fun, a nice change from some of the other punk bands in the UK
at the moment.
Despite the fact this is only a demo EP, the production is still
pretty good. Track one of the four is a melodic punk number, with a
catchy chorus and great guitar.... 'Primal Fear' is next up, a
faster track that for some reason the intro and guitar solo's remind
me of the newer - and better - Sum41 tracks (that's a good thing),
but that just might be me who thinks that..? This is a much stronger
track that the first, with good, catchy harmonies. 'Balls up' is
probably the strongest song on this EP, a fast paced, and
exceptionally catchy song...I really wanna see this one done live!
The final track, 'Last Chance' starts off with a slow intro and
speeding up for the choruses, with a really good drum beat.
There's not an amazing amount of difference between these tracks,
but there all still real good. An impressive new addition to the
Moon Ska family, and not to be missed on the 'Over
the Moon Tour' in April - May with fellow mooners, Whitmore,
Mixtwitch and Spankboy.
