Kelly: I'm Kelly, I'm the singer,
Simon: I'm si on drums
Nick: I'm nick, i play the bass
Joe: I'm Joe, I play guitar
Kelly: James plays trumpet
What's a brief history of the band?
Kelly: Someone else do it!
Joe: It started in '98 with three of us that here now....me,
Nick and Kelly. We scrapped the drummer that we had then, about a
year ago, and got him....then our horn section
Nick: Then our trombone player quit 2 weeks ago
Why are you called No Comply?
Kelly: Named after the skate boarding trick No Comply...which is
one word for that....
How do you describe your music?
All: Punk, Rock
Nick: Shite!
Kelly: Punk with elements of hardcore, and ska in it?
Me: What do you think of the 'Save Ferris meets Capdown' label
you've been given?
Kelly: I guess so, but I mean, we're not as ska as Save Ferris
Nick: It's only cos you're a girl singer, that is the only
comparison.
What's the best gig you've played?
Kelly: Either the second gig at the WousterDeck Cheese summer
slam, that was cool....
And the best band you've played with?
Nick: Aww, there's too many really
Kelly: When we played with King Prawn
Nick: Capdown the THE boys, they're the best band in England
Who would you most like to play with?
Si: Slayer *laughter*
Kelly: Loadsa bands!
What's the funniest thing that's happened on tour?
Nick: James Kicked si out the van, down into a river
Kelly: Si was trying to pee out the back of the van, standing on
the edge of the van, so James kicked him out....He rolled down a
bank into a river!
Nick: James woke up in his sleep and thought he was stuck in the
van and started banging on the van, trying to get out...and he was
like sleep walking! Or there was that time where Jon woke up in his
sleep, pissed him self in his sleeping bag and then we woke up and
found him outside trying to dispose of his sleeping bag in a bin
without telling us!
Which bands influence you the most?
Kelly: Suicidal tendencies, Boy sets fire....so many bands
influence us
How did you get on Deck Cheese?
Nick: Cos We're great. *laughter*
Si: Erm, we sent Big Cheese? our demo, and they called us up,
and wanted to see us live
How has the release of the EP gone?
Kelly: Really good, yea
Me: I got it...Its really good
Kelly: You get it from stand out?
Me: Nah, just sent a check to Deck Cheese head office
Si: How much is it there, just out of interest....
me: 6 quid
Si: 7 quid in Virgin...
Me: Well, i paid 1.50 on P&P but i did get a few cds....
Si: Yea, it varies....Independent stores sell it cheaper than
others.
What's a strange or disgusting fact about yourselves?
Nick: Si just fucking stinks *laughter* James has
this really fucking bad habit of like, he won't answer a question,
he'll just laugh! John pisses himself....
Me: What about Kelly?
Nick: She farted just before you walked in! *laughter*
Kelly: I don't fart!
What are your porn star names? don't know who said which: Sammy mer??? Sunny Litely or something Tuggey Avary? (i think this may be wrong!)

What piercing or tattoos does everyone have? Kelly: Nick's got his nipple pierced
Nick: A body piercer started work where I work so i got it done
for free. I fucking screamed....it really really hurt. I've got No
Comply tattoed on my back *shows*
