Sept 5th
7 new band bios up today - 5 Cent Deposit, #King Sativa, Milk2Sugars, Mr Zippy, My Favourite Copilot, Sonic Boom 6, & The Weakerthans. I've been busy! Also, the other band bios have been updated.

Sep 1st
There may still be a huge lack of updates but it is hard when I work full time. Thankfully I've taken a week off to get the site back up to scratch. Today I uploaded about 100 photos - From the gigs I went to whilst in Dublin (Mixtwitch and King Sativa).
Moon Ska Europe has announced their bands tours - click here for dates. The latest Jesse James dates are there too!

July 26th
(again)
Right I decided to get my ass into gear and uploaded some more photos - the final films from the Moon ska boast gig, and some of the ones from the Smash it Up tour featuring Sonic Boom Six, Fletcher, King Prawn, Not Katie's and Whitmore. They're on the photo page BTW

July 26th
Whoops, I just noticed the severe lack of updates. I have been working full time so, so I've kind of got an excuse! I've uploaded 90% of the Mr zippy interview (finally) the rest shall follow shortly. I've just got back from my holiday in Dublin too where I went to see the fantastic Mixtwitch boys, and also got toe see The Wailers live (as in Bob Marley's band). They had support from this fucking amazing band called King Sativa, who are possibly the best live act I've seen! So check them out if its the last thing you do!
Also, I interviewed the amazing Canadian band The Weakerthans at their one off gig on the 24th which should be up ASAP

In other news...I'm thinking about setting up my own venue in the Salisbury area so I'm going to blame any future lack of updates on me being busy with that!

June 18th
Ok, so I got chucked out of college this week, and I had my last exam yesterday, so un till I find something more interesting to do with my life, there will be a lot of updates on the site. With no revision to be done I can finally find the time to do some reviews and type up the long overdue interviews with Mr Zippy, $up and Phinius Gage. Hurrah!
For now, though there's the review of Spankboys' ( aka Sola Beat Alliance), 'Rise on up EP', and No Complys 'Your Life (is your direction)' .  And you can find them on the reviews page.....

June 10th
Loads more pics from the Over The Moon Tour are now up and I still have more films to get developed! I went to an excellent gig on saturday with Sola Beat, 4 Ft Fingers and [Spunge]....the review will be up once I've finished my exams!

May 28th
Over The Moon tour is over! Noooooooooo! I have nothing to do now! except revise of course! A massive thanks to every one on the tour for putting up with me at all 10 of the gigs i went to! 150 more phone photos have been added so go check it! I have 8 films to get developed so 36 x 8 = 288 more photos to go up, woooo! Join me soon for some decent pictures!

May 20th
sorry about the lack of updates. I'm currently taking A level exams so the site isn't much of a priority! There's lots of new photos up - about 250 of them! all from the over the moon tour (I've been to 6 dates already! and have 4 more to go to)....so there's a lot from the Aldershot gig. And I got a camera phone recently so there's a page with them on with pics from most of the gigs. They're pretty damn cool! The tour has been excellent so far, with the exception of Aldershot *cough cough*. Men can be such bastards! Anyway, with Southampton, Milton Keynes, and both London shows left to go a lot more photos should be up after them too.
A big thanks must go out from me and Jen to the whole of Spankboy (sola Beat) for picking us up and driving us everywhere, and letting us steal/share your bunks after every gig so that we have some where to sleep! And most of all, putting up with our constant ramble about random shit! Love you boys!

April 22nd
I hate computers. I really do. (along with men...). I ran out of file space today to upload anything. As Bt sucks big time I cant buy any more...so I have to change to a different company....But then I couldn't use the space i just bought cos I didn't actually own the name ukpunk.tk ....so i had to buy that too! It then took 5 hours to reupload all of the files and get it working. Damn the internet. It cost me 100 dollars too! Grr.... On the bright side, photos from the London Jesse James gig are up now, also the Mr Zippy ones are too. Interviews will be up ASAP.
On another down side, although I'll leave it to you lot to work out why this is bad...The Over the Moon Tour starts on 24th...dates here..

April 17th
Just got back from London again...I met Westlife! Fuck yes! They were in the Burger King in Camden, how fucking classy! it was really really cool, and I got a photo of Nicky. Was a fantastic night. Went to see Sommerset, No Comply, Not Katie's and Phinius Gage. Unfortunately, Phinius Gage's van broke down so Howard's Alias stepped in for them....All bands were very good and luckily Matt from PG still came to the gig to do my interview with Rich and Neil from Not Katie's pretending to be the rest of the band.... Tragedy then struck when me and Jen missed our last home...whoops. So we stayed at Olly from fletchers house. Oh no, what a shame. I'm such a name dropper. haha...

April 13th
Just got home from the London Jesse James gig, which was really cool. Except for what happened following the gig. Must keep my mouth shut though, I wouldn't wanna get any one in trouble now would I...*cough*. The gig was really good though - I finally got to see Adequate 7 and Shootin' Goon, although I've missed the interviews with them cos I was preoccupied *cough*.....I seem to be doing that a lot at the moment. Which is shit cos interviews are fun!
Thursdays gig was really good too. Missed the Howard's Alias interview though....preoccupied again...*winks*. Im so unprofessional...

April 10th
The Mr Zippy gig on the 6th was really good - interview went well and they along with 4ft fingers rocked like a bitch live. On the 8th I finally got to see $up who were fantastic live, as were Route 215. Please please please if its the last thing you go check out both band at http://www.supsite.co.uk  and  http://www.mp3.com/route215. IT turned into an even better night when 2/3 of $up came back to stay at mine. Mmm, drunken antics. Ask Will $up if you wanna see the video! And tonight, I'm off to see Jesse James, $up and Howard's Alias in Bristol. Woo!

April 6th
Sorry for the lack of updates, but college work has been calling (yea right) along with driving lessons and the like. Plus, the huge lack of gigs around me since the local venues closed has caused a bit of a problem! I've decided to solve that problem by forking out for train tickets and hotel rooms, so this week I'm going to plenty of gigs - Mr Zippy & 4 ft Fingers tonight, $up & Route 215 Tuesday, Jesse James, $up and Howards Alias Thursday, Jesse James & Adequate 7 Saturday, and Not Katies, No Comply, Phinius Gage & Sommerset on Wednesday. That means many new interviews and reviews up asap!

There's some live reviews up now, there's a lot more of them, and of Cd's that need to be typed up so keep looking back to see if they're here.

March 18th
London pics are finally up. Also those from the fantastic Not Katies gig on the 14th. An interview with them should be up by tonight!

March 3rd
There's some pics of the Salisbury Whitmore gig up. and when I get the Cd sorted, also some pics of my day out in London ('wow, thrilling' I hear you cry...well it is music guy related so its kind of relevant). Oh, and that stupid soppy pop up has gone....Hurrah. The things idiotic men can make a girl do, eh....

Feb 18th
There are a few new bios that are ready to go up - namely the Bomb Jacks and King Prawn. But, due to some recent events in my life the site is going to be put on hold for a week or two while I get my head together. C ya all then!

Feb 12th
More bios up - Big D and The Kids Table, Kenisia, Brodie, Phinius Gage & Route 215.

Feb 5th
Gash and [spunge] bios have been added...

Feb 4th
Greveltrap Platted Pubes EP is now up and working. Along with bio's for the fine bands Capdown and Shooting Goon.

Jan 28th
More band bios are up today! Yaaaaaay! You'll find the bio's for the Household name records bands Adequate 7, and Five Knuckle. Also, yet another Moon Ska Europe band Farse. Check them out, and keep looking back for even more new stuff.....

Jan 27th
Some more new stuff today (wahoo, regular updates!). There's some new band bio's up - so far Whitmore and Gravel trap, and will be more up by the end of the night. Also, there's a review up of the band Pickled Dick's demo.

Jan 23rd
Another new reviews up - Whitmore 'Smoke the Roach' and the link for Lubby Nuggets review now works. Still trying to fix the gravel trap one.
It has been rumoured that [spunge] had been dropped by B-Unique - here's the real scoop:

'The label again asked for a tour to go with the release and a huge UK tour was arranged for November/December 2002. The band were in full control of all the promotion for the tour and most shows were sold out with over 15,000 tickets sold to [spunge] fans, with no financial support from the label, and no press coverage at all.

The single wasn’t released. Another meeting in December between label and band management had Dave Juste pointing out that the label had let the band down again, that there had been 5 different product managers in 6 months (including 3 in seven days), that the press representative had not even contacted the big four magazines to arrange press for the tour (a fact confirmed by the editors), and that overall the organisation was a sham. The label agreed. 48 hours later [spunge] and B-Unique parted company.

The band are now writing new material for the next album and buying back the recordings already made which B Unique are unable to release contractually'.

Jan 21st
Well, my internet is finally fixed so there's actually going to be some updates! New on the site is a review for Mixtwitch's album 'Smile For The Money Shot', a review for Lubby Nuggets classic 'Subtle Crucial' and also Moon Ska Europe's new signing Graveltraps' 'Platted Pubes' Ep.
Rumour has it [Spunge] have been dropped by their record label, B-Unique. Harsh!
Also, the dates for Moon Ska Europe's spring tour, 'Over The Moon' with Whitmore, Mixtwitch, Spankboy and Gravel trap have been announced:

Dec 30th
Lightyear and No Comply interviews are finally up, go check them out in the interviews section...

Dec 29th
Hey! Hope everyone had a good Christmas, and that you all got what you wanted. I did....but that usually happens what your a bit spoilt.....

As I'm sure you've noticed, not all of the site is in the new format yet, but I'm currently in the process of changing it all, while transcripting the Lightyear and No Comply interviews at the same time.....I do have a lot of CD reviews to do - they will be done very soon, just bear in mind I'm a busy lass and have A level retakes in a few weeks, so also have lots of revision to do.....

I'm sure most of you have heard, Joe Strummer, the front man of The Clash died this week, so prayers go out to his friends and family.

Anyways, I'll be off, you will notice more and more of the site being in the new format etc, see you in the New Year, have a gudun!

Dec 17th
Finally, the new site has been launched. It's all a bit shaky at the moment, but I wanted to get it online ASAP. Any problems are going to be sorted soon. You'll find that not all the pages are in this new format - that will be done in due course. I plan to well and truly get my act together with this site - there will be lots of new band profiles, gig and CD reviews up very soon.
Also, for some reason my hits counts have gone way way up over the last new days - I've had over 600 today, and I can't work out why, as there's nothing new here. Strange. Its all good though, keep it up!

Dec 1st
Wahoo, it's finally xmas time. Bloody freezing it is too. The Southampton [spunge] gig was last night, which was ace. The boys gave us great backstage hospitality, the pictures of the '[Spunge] and UK Punk guide to sex positions' can be found here. Also there are pictures from the tour bus. And Des with a lemon up his tight white ass. Also, the Interview with [Spunge] is here. Wahoo.!

Nov 25th
2 new sets of photos up - the rest of the final golfing on the moon tour date in Portsmouth, and from the Mixtwitch and [Spunge] gig that I went to in Dublin. Also, the photos page is now a lot easier to use...thanx to Ronan from Mixtwitch who nagged me to change it....

Nov 24th
Two of the 4 interviews are finally up, Bowling For Soup and Whitmore! Hurrah! Also, there is now finally some gig reviews up...due to be edited but there here if you want a look at the crappy versions. Also, the gigs page has been [partly] updated.

Nov 20th
Ok, so apologies about the lack of updates, but I have been really snowed under with college work, and being on retakes I can't be slack about it again as this is my last chance.
I've been away for a week in Dublin visiting Ronan and the rest of the Mixtwitch boys for their dates with [spunge] and great fun was had by all, i lived on McDonalds and got a souvenir that i shall keep for life. No teary good byes this time though...oh well!

Nov 4th
The last gig on the golfing on the moon tour was last night, was a wee bit emotional what with Ronan going back to Ireland and all, but it was a great gig, with all bands onstage for each others last songs. Went back to Robb Whitmore's afterwards and then said goodbye to the 'twitch at about half 6 am where i then had to go to college without any sleep and covered in beer from my fight with Dave Mixtwitch. Fun. I'm not a happy bunny about that and I miss the bitch Ronan. lol

Nov 1st
Went to the Lightyear and Captain Everything gig last night at the Art Centre, it was really good, except the first too local bands, MMR and Three Date Theory were complete shite and the latter were total Blink 182 rip offs. Apart from that I had a good time, and the interview with Lightyear went really well.

Oct 29th
Hey people.....There's lotsa new things on the site...a page on Mixtwitch, along with an interview with them and photos of them playing at the London Garage on the 27th. On the subject of the London Garage, that was a fantastic gig, and it was also Ronan, the bassist from Mixtwitch's [and my latest pull, *ahem*] birthday [the reason why I travelled so far to be there] so it was all good fun, apart from the whole trying to fit around 15 people onto 3 mattresses.

Oct 23rd
Ok, some band news...Jesse James album is out now, buy it at 'all good record stores', Spankboy are going into the studio later this month to record a new E.P to be out on Moon Ska Europe, and Lubby Nugget are also set to start recording their new E.P., 'The Land Of Lubby'.

Oct 16th
Bowling for soup in interview went really well last night. they were really nice guys. That all the 3 other interviews I've done will be up soon, your going to have to bear with me until next week, as I have lots of Psychology course work to do! Got the Jesse James album last night, it's ace, so go buy it when its out on the 21st!

Oct 13th
Ok, most of the photos from the Golfing on the Moon Tour are up now, and I've typed up 2 of the interviews but they're saved on a lap top that I'm not going to see for over a week, dammit. The good news is, my interview with Bowling For Soup is on Tuesday. Yay!

Oct 2nd
You want the good news or the bad news? Well, good news, - the gig was fucking brill! The interview with Mixtwitch was wicked, and when I interviewed Whitmore, Rob from 4ft fingers decided to conduct it, which was fun! The bands were great, and after much begging me and Jen proceeded to get off with each other on stage during Mixtwitch's set!
It was great fun, all the blokes went mental, and Cags, the lead singer was singing into my arse at one point. How nice. But just to set the records straight, neither me nor Jen have any lesbian tendencies whatsoever and was done purely for the entertainment of the bands.
We then proceeded to take Ronan, Mixtwitch's bassist to a club (well, he gave me a piggy back, hehe) were I proceeded to pull him. I thought I'd share that with everyone, if your reading this Ronan. (Thanx for today too)
Interviews and Photos of the gig (including evidence of my hardcore girl on girl action) with be up ASAP.

'The bad news' I hear you cry. Well, Pete has left Jesse James. Which made me very unhappy. And when I phoned him he was busy and said he'd tell me why later. Hmm, the confusion.

Oct 1st
Have 3 interviews lined up tonight - Gash, Whitmore and Mixtwitch, at the Golfing on the Moon tour! should be fun! Only 3 days till No Comply and SpankBoy gig! and I'm interviewing No Comply too!
