After the gig at which I was supposed to be interviewing Lubby Nugget at was cancelled, I decided to make use of Sam's number and make friends. He agreed to an interview too.

Why did u call yourselves ‘Lubby nugget’?
It was something to do with random words being put in to a hat and then being pulled out. Nothing interesting. Apparently they couldn’t decide on a name that one person came up with so words from all suggestions were put together.

How do you describe your music?
Reggae with metal riffs n punky bits to boot. That’s my description anyway. Cock Rock Reggae is someone else's!

Best gig you’ve played + band you’ve played with?
The best band I have played with in Lubby nugget would have to be No Comply. For me they are great and really get you wanting to move. Check em out. The best gig for me was on Sunday (1^st sep) at Camden underworld. It was great. Thanks to everyone that danced and jumped on stage n all the other shit! Ace!

Which bands influence you’re music? 
You would have to ask Kerry really, but I think these days we are working completely on our own style.. We just play what we enjoy and can groove to. Reggae is extremely important… ska not as much any more. We are kind of mixing lots of styles.. Its all good!

Who would you most like to play with?
Green day. Without any doubt at all… ever!

Have u ever thought of signing to a bigger label?
All the time. We love money! If only someone would want us!

Why do you think the ska/punk scene’s grown so much lately?
Dunno… I don’t much care for it! I love the alternative scene better.
Do you catch my sarcasm… if I get in trouble for such things being said it is only my opinion and not the rest of the bands! (Sam) 

What’s a strange or gross fact about each of you?
Kerry can and does suck his own toes!

Mine is spotty crowther… tom’s is something really funny but I cant remember sorry! My mates is snowy bullock! That’s well funny!
