FARSE formed in 1996 with Ollie (vocals), Chris (bass) and Dan (drums), Tom and Adrian joined later as the twin guitarists.

The bands new material, was a 'fairly unique blend of Old School Hardcore, Emo and Ska'.

Farse started gigging around their home town of Birmingham, building up a healthy local fanbase. Support slots with [spunge], Capdown, Good Riddance, Mad Caddies, Voodoo Glow Skulls, King Prawn, Bouncing Souls and H20 amongst others have helped make them the West Midlands most happening Ska-core band

The band recorded their 13 track debut album ‘Means To An End’ in April and June 2000 at Rich Bitch studios in Birmingham. [spunge]’s manager Dave Juste heard their recording and licensed it through Sucka-Punch Records to much critical acclaim.

Following the release the band played 12 shows on [spunge]’s sold out tour of large UK venues, getting great reception from fans and promoters, subsequently landing them the support slots for Mad Caddies in Jan 2002, bringing Farse to the attention of Moon Ska Europe. Shortly after, recording of ther second album “Boxing Clever” took place.

October saw not only the release of the new album, but an opening slot on the Bowling For Soup UK tour, along with Uncle Brian and Jesse James. Being no rest for the wicked, this was quickly followed by the main support act for [Spunge]'s November tour all over the UK.

Farse are set to do a massive tour over march and April this year, make sure you catch them at a venue near you!
