Can you give me a brief history of the band?
We all went to school together apart from Dougie and started playing a bit and just played under different names. 
And then me Dave and tom and a guy called Andy on bass started 4ft fingers in about 98 and met Dougie who was just a
mate Then. Dougie lent us the money for our first c.d and as time went on Andy left so Dougie filled his shoes and the rest is 
history.

How do you describe the music that you play?
Full on British punk rock. And always a laugh live.

Where did your name come from?
I have really big hands and fingers so the guys used to have a laugh at them and we came up with 4ft fingers.

How did you get on golf records?
They own p.h.d, which is one of the biggest distro companies for c.d's for punk In the world and our album went trough
them to all the shops and they saw how many we were selling a month and thought it would be a good thing if they signed 
us to their label golf.

You guys have become pretty big in the ska/punk scene – I can’t walk around Salisbury with out seeing
someone wearing a 4 ft  fingers t-shirt – how does that feel?
Better than sex! Well no actually, but it's so cool it makes us feel that we are doing something right with our life’s and who 
ever is wearing it we know that they like us, and we play a part in their life’s and its just ace.

Have you started the recording of your new album ‘from hero to zero’, if so how’s it coming along?
Yep, we have finished it now and it sounds brilliant, I just hope every one likes it as much as we do. Sept 9th you'll have 
to wait till though.

Which is the best gig you’ve ever played + the best band you’ve played with?
To many, every town is ace in some way or another but the la2 in London was a real good one. And band wise, we have 
played with so many it's hard to pick one. For me it was snuff or mad caddies but we have played with 13 fat wreck band
and they were all ace.

What’s the strangest thing that’s happened to you on tour?
Like I said to many things happen Dougie getting an earplug stuck in his ear was a classic and he ended up in hospital cos 
no one could get it out with the pliers! 

Why do you think the punk/ska scenes grown so much lately?
Just the way it is. I think a lot of people are in it just cos it's cool and don't know fuck all about it. But also kids are realising 
they can be who they want, wear what they want these day's. And just there are more and more good band's these days.

What do you think are the best bands in the scene at the moment?
Any that can write a good tune and work hard but there are so many I wouldn’t know where to start.

What do you think of the mp3 sharing and c.d burning  (copying c.d’s)?
It sucks in that being in a band is hard work I should know. I'm broke and yet the money the band makes is trough c.d's then
some shit down loads it and cuts us out meaning we lose out. You may think £8.5o for 4ft's album I’ve just saved, fine what
ever, but 100 people do it that's £850 we lose out on that’s why I don’t have one burn off because it's cheap!! But on the other 
hand more people hear us so I guess we all win at the end of the day. But I say buy don’t burn your only cheating the bands 
you love out of the real only source of income they have!

Do you guys have day jobs?
Not really we work a bit but we are to busy these days.

What’s one strange/gross fact about each of you?
Dave stinks and he dribbles with out realising, Dougie's rotten toenail that he has to have removed, tom's feet, and I burp a lot

What are your porn star names?!
I can’t remember theirs but mine is Monty challis
